Shark Professional Steam and Spray Mop

Bought this for a friend and they really like it.

What temperature does the steam get up to in this model?

What model is this? And, where would one get replacement cleaner one the bottles that come with it run out?

Appears to be the SK410 judging by the pictures. The refurb went for $50.

So this is corded? Of course all the nice pics show no cord but there are ‘cord hooks’ but then WTF, you also need batteries??

Confused…

I believe if this is like the ones I bought for Christmas these corded Shark mops do not use a cleaner. I suppose you could add a liquid to the water reservoir however manufacture doesn’t suggest doing so since doing so will avoid any warranty of course.

It’s corded.

As with alot of manufacture pictures don’t want to show you the cons to their products however yes these are corded and don’t use batteries. With that said it’s much more powerful than any other steam mop especially battery operated versions. Shark makes pretty good products. I’ve been using Vacuums for years and since Christmas currently own the steam mop and only cons I have experienced is the cord and have to fill reservoir alot on max steam setting.

I’ve owned this exact model for 5 years - I bought it at BJ’s for about $80. It has a long cord and three settings. The battery is for the spray cleaner that you can spray to get out touch spots. The cleaner is sold separately and I buy it at target. The disposable pads are getting harder to find but you can find the reusable (washable ones). It works fantastic and gets out seen and unseen dirt. You don’t need any cleaner if you don’t want to use the trigger sprayer, since it only uses steam to clean the floors. I’ve used it on hard wood and tile and it always does the job. I was thinking about buying a second one because it’s so cheap and in case mine were to break.

I know for a fact that it gets to a temperature of 212 degrees Fahrenheit (F) at sea level. Your experience may differ according to your particular altitude.

For example, if you use it in Denver, the temperature at which the water turns to steam will be below 212 (F).
