What specific warranty would I need to buy for this? Not loving the 90 days included warranty.

It’s a pretty skimpy warranty. I got my refurbished one when Woot first had them and they have since dropped price! SMH! Note, it is not without issue. In particular, the remote is not very sensitive. I can sometimes be button mashing right in front of the unit and it won’t register. Ebay sells remotes for like $40! They gave me a partial refund. Other than that I’ve enjoyed the newer technology. But it’s niche. I wouldn’t say it could in any way replace my Vornado during hot summer days. But I like it now that its Fall and its super quiet on the lowest setting at night if you’re sensitive to sound and just want a light circulation. TL/DR.

Thanks for that! Do you mind answering a question? I like to put my fans on smart plugs and have them turn off when I leave the house. Some older school fans support this my allowing you to set a particular speed and even when “unplugged” and “plugged back in” with the smart plug, they return to that speed. If you unplug and plug this fan back in, does it return to the same speed or is it off and needs to be turned back to the desired speed with the controls/remote?

Been eyeing this fan for awhile at Costco but the price was ridiculous. $90 is much more approachable so I figured why not give it a shot. Reviews that I’ve seen on YouTube are mostly good so I guess I’ll see when it arrives.

What’s the difference between this and the shark TF202SWH?

I googled this and it looks like the UT205 is the XL version while the other one is the standard size version.

I bought one of these but for the life of me I cannot get it to oscillate

I’m having the same problem with mine. Disassembled and reassembled it, but it just makes a clicking noise when I turn on oscillating.
