Woot seems to know every shirt they printed for the last few years is trash?
Here due to the 65% off and trying to decide on Fitted vs Classic.
Have a ton (just going back and counting seems to be 42… I’ll tell the mice… of shirts with the new print process I haven’t washed or worn any of those.
Now sounds like I have a ton of money worth of trash?
EDIT - well investigating and writing in forum lead to expiration of 65% so no checking to see print quality now for me.

…and I have many of this type of print shirt like from Wallyworld
Nasa, pink floyd ones - seem to use exact same method as the new Woot ones - I haven’t paid more than $5 for any of those - some under $2 and they mostly look brand new after hundreds and some thousands of washes.
like I have this shirt (photo from walmart) bought for $2 and some change looks brand new after probably 2yrs and washed at least 1x per week often 2x.
seems to use same exact print method as new woot.
Can take a photo of mine later - I can’t tell it from new.

Thank you TT - yes I contacted Customer Service and all they offered is a $10 off SORRY coupon. I was hoping for a reprinted shirt that would last. For all the designs I have that are failing. Some after as little as 2 cold washes and dried inside out!

I think you need to stop selling t-shirts altogether until you figure out why the designs are flaking off. It’s leaving disappointed customers with what amounts to a blank t-shirt, and this is not fair to the artist either to have their work disrespected in such a manner.

FYI to woot: I sit here in one of a dozen shirts that peeled badly. I used to buy a ton of shirts from you, but I haven’t in about a year - why? Because they all peeled. You replaced my first few that did, so I figured it was a fluke and ordered again. All the rest also peeled - shame on me, I figured. I won’t buy again until the problem is solved.

It does not. A shirt I gave my S/O last Christmas is faded and peeling to the point even he complained about it. Every shirt I’ve bought since the end of last year appears to have this issue, some of which have only been worn a few time (<6 times).

It’s been well over a week. This is not rocket science. What is the finding?
(For the record I’m with the growing group of people who are not buying ANYTHING from woot - shirts included - until this is resolved to my satisfaction.)

Sad Woot Shirt artist here, seeing shirt Woot customers feel like they’re getting the short end of the stick on this. I can’t speak from experience on any recent orders, because I send almost all of my comp shirts to charity, but I hope the problem gets solved soon.
It’s really something cool of the loyal customers to let a company know about issues with production quality, but it says something when they’re also telling you their willingness to trust in the product is wearing thin. Woot Shirts has always been a brand with an impeccable reputation, and this desire to help Woot FIX the problem before jumping ship says a lot in that regard.

I have acquired a huge selection of Woot! Shirts in the past year.
Despite frequent wear and washing, I am not having the peeling, fading issue everyone else is having.
I wash them inside out on the delicate setting and air dry.
I use Method detergent.
Wonder if the detergent makes a difference?

I don’t know if detergent matters. I generally use the sensitive skin version of whatever detergent I use, which varies based on what’s on sale (usually All, but not always). Sometimes the shirts are inside out, sometimes they aren’t. And I always dry my shirts in the dryer yet I haven’t experienced peeling, so I don’t know that’s much of a factor.
In other words, I do the bare minimum to clean and dry my clothes and it seems to be working. I think I’ve just gotten lucky, considering how badly I’ve seen others’ shirts peel.

It isn’t all the shirts, I have ones that have been fine. But it’s more than a few, and it’s enough that they have to know it’s a problem by now.
