Why are these not dishwasher safe?

We love these bottles! They look great, there is no seam inside the bottle (I feel safer drinking out of it than my previous bottle), it keeps my water cold for more than a day - couldn’t ask for more. I hadn’t head of this brand before, I am glad I took a chance on them because we love them.
I purposely bought myself a bright pink one so no one would “borrow” it 
That strategy has worked so far!
