$117 on mothership with monthly payments option but no warranty details

Ok, I’m not sure what point you are trying to make. I get a $116 Business Price. I’m not seeing a monthly payment option but I didn’t go so far as to add it to my cart and checkout. I have two Amazon cards and believe it or not, they have options for payment on a monthly basis. But, I’m just going to throw this out there: if you need a payment plan for a ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR red dot, you need to rethink your life choices.

I just received mine. It’s a counterfeit so I will be returning it.

Wow! How easy was it to tell?
I wondered how woot was selling these at a discount, but I didn’t think of counterfeiting as a possibility. I’m going to look a lot closer at popular models of name brand items on here that are listed as new and discounted seemingly for no reason. Thanks for posting about your experience.

Hello! I verified with my vendor, and what we have is legit Sig Sauer product. Can you please send us images of what you received along with details on why you presume it’s counterfeit? I did a deep dive on our inventory and I can’t seem to understand which part of ours seems to appear illegitimate. Please reach out to customer service to explain the details. Thank you! :slightly_smiling_face:

At least you got something. Mine disappeared. Never made it to OOPS. CS is supposed to be finding a replacement (hopefully new and OEM) But I’m almost just considering a refund it’s been so long.

I also got a counterfeit, it immediately felt off compared to legitimate ones I own and Sig customer support confirmed it. Woot, your vendor might have been lying, or your stock got contaminated.
If you have a real one to compare it with, the differences are somewhat noticeable. The one Woot sent me had a manual with poorly photocopied diagrams, while the legitimate one is crisp and lacks halftones. The real one also appears to have its serial number and logo laser etched onto the body while the fake has them painted on. The LED on the fake also is bare, while the real one has it potted. The feel and surface finish of the two are also noticeable.

Hey, sorry for late reply I just saw this. Basically what GripenDelta said, I have a legitimate version I compared it to and it was super easy to tell it was totally off.

It’s interesting how this comment thread got disconnected from the item itself. (Click on item link and on its forum link, which says “Start the discussion”)

Not.
