One of the reasons I purchased this product was the number of positive reviews. I have not used it yet so I cannot comment on how effective the product is or is not. But I opened the enclosed envelope and inside is a $50 offer if you send a screen shot or photo of a 5 star review on Amazon. Majorly cheesy IMO.
Follow up to my review. I asked my dermatologist is this product works and his answer was it has proven effective in a double-blind test in which some recipients were given placebos and some the actual product. So yes it does work. But it is still scummy to offer a $50 bribe (if you purchase from Amazon) if you give the product a 5-star rating. OTOH if they are willing to pay you $50 for a 5-star review . . . .

This scar tape really works! I totally recommend it & give it 5 stars. My scar is almost gone from using this product.
