Oooooo…very cool drying rack!
I cant comment about this brand, but I can regarding this style.
**These are great. They can hold the heavy and bulky items easily. I have one which is out all year long (too lazy to bring it in). And after a few years its just now starting to fail-rust in the metal connections. **

Thanks for posting.
These look great for the heavy stuff like bed clothes.
Wonder if we can make a sling so we could dry things flat like sweaters…
I think so. The $1.25 store has plastic clips which fit perfectly over the bars, as I use them to secure the towels and sheets. Get some screening and attached it with those clips. Put the sweater on it and viola.
That sounds amazing. We have got to try it now.
What kind of weather has your drying rack survived? High winds? Snow? Thunderstorms? Rain? Hail?
High winds, no. I doubt any drying rack will survive that. Thunderstorms, if its just your average storm-sans the high winds ,yea.Hail, check.
South Florida heat, humidity, check. Rain, yup on that also.
Also the pole which is added to the center, provides stability, so even if you dont use it, put it in.
Okay, we are sold. It is going in the cart.
The placement I have it is, long side east-west, if that makes sense. As in The X is at the east-west ends. Its something you may have to work with to see which orientation gives you the least wind resistance.
And get plastic clips or any other clips, to hold the linens.
Put it on or shopping list.
Thanks for the tips!
