I have the pure maple version. The syrup is very thin – just a little thicker than water, actually. That doesnt make it bad, just unusual.
What’s this on the label about added sugars? Pure maple syrup doesn’t have “added” sugar. It’s just boiled down to concentrate the sugar that occurs naturally. Label flaw! Or is it not boiled down as much with sugar added to make it sweet like normal syrup? Could explain why it’s thin. The name “skinny syrup” make it sound as though the sweetener is not normal, but low calorie or artificial. Just weird all around.
Absolutely Agree…i grew up in maple syrup shacks…the only substance added to the last batch was private reserve “special adult syrup”, And it wasn’t sugar, sugar
The ingredients don’t say anything about added sugars. It says 100% pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup/Burboun barrel aged.
Read the label. It’s there. Wish I knew how to put a screen shot on here.
