Wow… how far should I expect 0.21oz per bottle to cover?? Maybe three ribs, or two chicken breasts? Hopefully they have a full catalog of what could become your favorite taste sensations. I don’t know whether airport screening personnel will let these get past at check-in; we can hope, but I’ve had slightly larger bottles of hot sauce get tossed before…
A bargain at $118/lb.

While I agree these are pretty small “sample size” bottles of seasonings, any one of these should easily handle a chicken or two, or a dozen chips, or 4-5 steaks, etc. But not much more. Most of the seasonings here have a lot of “dried vegetable matter” which if fresh is kinda fluffy and very light for the volume. Seasonings that have a high density are really mostly salt.
In any case, this is a ridiculously high price per ounce IF these were meant to be taken as an actual BBQ standard purchase. But they are meant to be a gift, and like all the food “gift baskets” on the market they are more “cute” than usable and priced at many times there actual value. You could get a better deal if it was a BBQ sauce or hot sauce gift pack as those are usually priced at only 2 to 4 times the separate cost of each of the individuals. But I recently bought a set of 24 “grilling spices” at Sam’s Club where each was in a bottle about 1" diameter by 6" tall simlply corked on top, each was nominly 0.9 oz and the “pointless price” was $26.98 but Sam’s was selling them for $12.49, I bought 2 to give as gifts. They are sold out now, and of course like gift items at the “club” warehouse stores (Sam’s , Costco, etc.) these are one time items, you will never see again. But they will have similar items NEXT SUMMER.
