CS is based in the US and elsewhere.

Where else would you like them?

Same place as Amazon. They offer satisfaction

And duct tape.

To be fair, I’ve had issues with Amazon reps.

One wanted me to fly to the middle of the country to rectify an issue, while a different rep didn’t help me after a trade-in got returned to me, but they sent me two different items instead of what I sent in.

(Granted, I sent in a router, and Amazon sent back a Chromebook and a large monitor.)

we actually use Amazon CS as our back-up non-US staff.

Want to try again?

Sorry you’re unhappy but when you get your own company, you can figure out how to make X number of a highly desirable item to X^10 number of people without running out and crashing systems. Until then, you’ll have to deal with us.

Shall we talk about Amazon going down during their Prime Days?
TicketMaster during some concert sales?

It happens.

You might want to try the “when you get your own company” thing again

And… I did get mine. I just don’t like how others, who’s orders keep getting canceled, are being treated. Either you have the product or you don’t

They have the product until they don’t.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

We sell a finite number of product at each sale. When it runs out, it’s sold out.

Because our system takes payment first (legacy code), we have to cancel the order to reverse the transaction on payments that went through before being allocated a product.

Sooo… give me your money now and I’ll check and see if I have the product? Hmm… I may need to look into that business model.

Dates back to when we were a “one sale a day”. We made sure the payment went through before allocating the product to an order. It’s archaic in our current model but it’s all we have at this time. we’re working to modernize our site but it takes time.

To give you an idea of the surge that we see with each BOC sale. The orange are the requests for orders. The peaks are the BOCs.

Okay, as long as you promise to fix it

Somehow almost every comments section gets turned into a BOC complaint thread…

I’m not doing the work so no promises for me but it’s on the roadmap. Oh, it’s a long/big roadmap.
