Can someone confirm if “Unopened” means brand new?

I’m pretty sure I got these on a Woot off at this price, but they were “new” condition. Good headphones. My next pair will be Apple AirPods Max 3 in 2035.
One needs to ask how are you using the headphones?
Radio stations buy the $79 Sony headphones by the case.
When you are listening to recorded audio for flaws, you don’t want the Bluetooth compression or noise cancelling.
But for comfortable online conferencing, it’s a whole different story.
