I can tell you that my son had the mens’ version of this same boot, and maybe it’s just his sweaty feet but after one season the boot shank had literally separated from the inside sole of the boot and the padding atop that was a shredded mess. As it turns out Sperry no longer embeds the shank into the material of the sole, it’s just glued in, and once that comes loose there’s no saving it and the boots become unwearable.
I contacted Sperry directly and they were like, “eh, whatever” and did nothing to help so now I get him a different brand.
