plus $60 for a Costco account
There is the pesky membership fee at Costco. I shop there often enough to eat up the membership moola. My daughter and I split the cost so it’s only $30 a year. I am the queen of the penny pinchers I end up on the “cash in hand” side of the deal shopping the deals at Costco. Were I only going purchasing splenda, might still go for the Costco deal. 4000 packets for around $60 at Costco, 4000 packets with the Woot! Deal "per packet’ price comes to around $130. (Samefully, I do go through 4000 splenda packets a year )
I was going to mention that this is a terrible price I dont care if you have a Costco membership or not people always bring up the membership cost but if you even just buy fuel there you save an arm a leg and 3 toes. If you break it down it is about $5 a month to shop there the savings is well worth $5.
Costco is not nationwide either. Many places do not have Costcos.
I did not know that Costco was not nationwide we have so many in the west that I assumed sorry. I do stand by the if you have one it is worth $5 a month.
I am so sorry for those without Costco or similar access. If I had to pay nearly $40 for 1200 packets of splenda, I would swear off the powderd stuff.
Being the queen of the penny pinchers, I order concentrated sucralose powder, a kilo at a time. I make my own duluted liquid sweetner. I reuse “mio” type bottles. A kilo lasts me about 5 years and I use it instead of sugar in nearly everything i want sweet.
I thought we were supposed to take the “extras” home from our meals at diners.
