These aren’t exactly the fanciest sports bottles, but they do the job and oftentimes you can’t get one sports bottle for this price.
I expected these to be made in China crap of questionable origin, but was pleasantly surprised to see that they are made in the U.S.A. crap of certain origin. Apparently a company called Hufferman makes these.
They seem to be B.P.A. free bottles that comply with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008, so they have third party testing to ensure no nastiness like lead.
A bottle like this would be good to use with something like powdered gatorade, lipton lemon powdered ice tea, powdered milk or kool-aid stashed in your backpack.
As long as you have a faucet and a measuring scoop you could save yourself some money buying drinks from the convenience store while you are out, esp. since this has marks for measuring the amount of water you put in. Mind you, it’s not as graduated as a measuring cup, so there might be a little bit of guesswork measuring out 12 ounces of water, but meh. 7 gallons of iced tea for $5 is a pretty great price, if you can take advantage of it, and these bottles will help you do that.
