I had not bought a Stanley tumbler before this. On the other hand, I HAD bought Hydrocell tumblers before. I was disappointed to find that the Stanley will leak freely if turned on its side, unlike the Hydrocell, since there is not a seal around the straw, unlike the other one.
The straw seal on the Hydrocell is inside the tumbler, with only a very small hole for air intake in the lid. The Stanley has a relatively large gap around the its lid hole for the straw to fit through. The Stanley tumbler, though, will fit in the cup holder in my vehicle… I suppose I’ll use the Stanley white in my car, and the Hydrocell when at home or in one place for awhile.
