Do not buy this or any other product from this company. They claim that woot is not an authorized seller and will not fulfill their warranty obligations. I purchased a snow blower and after using it only 3 times the shaft used to turn the chute broke. This is a very minor and insignificant item that they sell for $10 and they still refuse to replace it.

I don’t have this product but the quality of the other item I’ve purchased combined with the lack of support by the company would cause me to steer clear of all of their product lines.

I’m sorry for the problems with Snow Joe. I’ll let our team know.

make sure you reach out to Woot! Customer Service and tell them what you’ve tried with Snow Joe.

Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

As always, your input is valued and appreciated. I purchased the snow blower in July of last year and it clearly stated it had a 90 day limited warranty (not particularly helpful since snow blowers aren’t going to be used in July, August or September for the most part). Since I was aware of that, I went to attempt to order a replacement part. That’s when I came across the fact that the manufacturer provides a 2 year warranty on their products.

I registered my product and it says it is covered until 2025. However, when I submitted a claim, they refused to replace the part as it was purchased from an unauthorized distributor. I hold Woot blameless because it both clearly stated that it had a limited warranty and I fully believe that it should be the responsibility of the manufacturer.

All of that being said, someone is being dishonest. Either woot IS an authorized seller (which I’m certain is actually the case) and they’re trying to find a small loophole to avoid supporting their products, or woot is selling merchandise that they are not authorized to sell. In either scenario, the products purchased by others will absolutely not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

It’s actually irrelevant which is actually true because either way it ends with the same final outcome: consumers that purchase Snow Joe/Sun Joe/Aqua Joe/Auto Joe through woot are ineligible to receive service under the warranty. Considering an integral part of my product broke after only 3 uses, this is a big issue because what appears to be an inferior quality product has no avenue for redress.

I followed your advice and also submitted this information to customer service and I sincerely hope that it has some effect: either honoring their product warranties or the cessation of sales of this manufacturer’s products.

FWIW, we have confirmed that we are authorized by Sun Joe. Our vendor is escalating this up their customer service chain. It should be resolved very soon.

It’s May 2025 and SunJoe just told me they’d send me a “one-time replacement as a courtesy” for my dead mower, but will “void the rest of the warranty”, as Woot is “not an authorized party”. It would appear they didn’t get the memo.

I’ll ask the Tools team.
