Does anyone know if this is air or water tight? I wouldn’t want to buy this, throw in some outdoor cushions, and then pop it open when it needed only to have to dig through a pile of black widows and other little buggos.
I have a version of this box and I’m extremely impressed. I’ve had it for maybe 3 months outside and not nothing has got inside of it.
Instructions weren’t exactly clear when assembling but it gets done. I purchased mine at a local wholesale club BJ’s, the cost was 189 at the time.

I picked up the 99 gallon version for $100 last year and the toys and quad chairs are always dry after thunderstorms. I would not store bird seed in it though, as mice would probably get in. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
Good call. I was not observant. 122 gallons is more that 99 gallons; hence the higher price.
I’ve had one of these from Suncast for the last three or four months. It’s stayed nice and dry inside and been very pleased with it. That said - the price is less than impressive. Lowes has a pretty decent selection of deck boxes for less, though the models may not be an exact match. Looks like this one has a little curve to it. Not sure if that’s worth more money…but to each their own.
There are versions that you can buy that are also benches to sit on, if you are tight on space
From the pics, especially where lid joins sides, one can tell that water will run off, not in. And in spite of external wicker appearance, the sides are solid. That said, I would suggest not keeping cushions in there off-season, as they are likely to collect humidity and not disperse it - limited ventilation.
Got one of these. The lid can be used as a bench when it’s not hot out. Otherwise it’s a little soft and also blazingly hot.
Not airtight but keeps the stuff out of the sun and out of rain. We’re happy.
