" * Mountable Surface - Lawn surface (including accessories), wood surface (without accessories), and concrete surface (without accessories)."
Does the above mean this gazebo comes with a set of ground stakes or spikes to securely anchor it to your lawn, but not a wooden deck or concrete patio? The In The Box section doesn’t mention any kind of anchors.
Hi there. These are being obtained from Amazon inventory so we don’t have a lot of information. Here it is on Amazon. There may be more information there.

Not positive. I scanned the manual and I’m still not positive. Then again, it’s early.

Rufus isn’t sure either. I would assume not included.
According to the installation manual, it includes 8 ground spikes.
Anyone have an idea of what kind of wind this can hold up in. I am in Texas and would consider mounting this to my concrete patio but am concerned in a tropical storm or hurricane it would not hold up
Securing to a surface… Considering the 10x12, in the right wind, something like this will become either a sail, or a wing. At 300+ pounds, it isn’t particularly moveable. That said, I would secure it myself, with separate parts I would buy. For lawn, I would get some big dirt “screws”, about 6-12" tall (or deep), 3-4" diameter. Look for dog tie-outs. Some come with 10-20’ wire cables for the dog lead, which would be perfect to run up the center of the four posts, and secure at the top. For a cement surface, as they say, concrete expansion bolts and a piece of rust-protective angle bolts (or wire cables mentioned before). For deck, Just get a roll of guy wire, tie it at the top and around a big eye-bolt under the deck. (Wait for wifey to be sure she likes placement, before securing. ![]()
From my experience in the Midwest, with the gazebo anchored to my concrete patio with steel bolts: it handled regular 45-50 mph gusts and thunderstorms for about 2 years before a derecho with 75+ mph gusts ripped the sheet metal canopy off of its screws. So I doubt it would survive a hurricane.
Did Woot/Amazon fix the shipping issue? Tried purchasing 2 times prior and was refunded both times due to shipping issues.
Sorry, I don’t have any way to check that. ![]()
It is a good deal if you can actually get one.
Just a word of warning don’t count one these actually shipping.
I tried buying one and it never came. Order was canceled and money returned. So you don’t really loose anything for trying. But it was super annoying as I scheduled vacation time in preparation for building it and that got screwed up when it never showed up.
I have seen posts from multiple people having the same issue, some have tried multiple times same issue every time. I have yet to hear from anyone actually getting it.
Ended up buying a different brand somewhere else. It was $100 more but had a bit more features and more importantly it actually arrived. .
The one I got took me a good 10-12 hours to build, I did it completely myself so it is possible, but I would recommend you have at least 2 people. I would guess this one is similar.
I want one of these so badly, but…WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS BROWN???
Google AI Overview:
You’re asking why many hardtop gazebos are brown. While it may seem that way, Hardtop gazebos are not always brown.
Here’s why brown and similar shades are popular:
Mimicking Natural Materials: Many hardtop gazebos are constructed with materials like steel or aluminum that are then finished with a powder coating to give the appearance of wood. Brown tones are naturally associated with wood, creating a traditional and classic aesthetic that blends well in outdoor settings.
Aesthetic Appeal: Brown, especially darker brown or shades like taupe, is a modest color that blends well with natural surroundings like garden patios. A deep and rich brown color can add to the allure of the gazebo.
Durability and Low Maintenance: While the frames may be metal, a powder coating, often in brown, helps prevent rust and corrosion, extending the lifespan of the gazebo.
However, hardtop gazebos are also available in a variety of other colors to suit different preferences and styles.
