Description says 1/4 cord and 40" but photos say 1/8 cord and 24". Which is correct?
I was a little skeptical about the claim that it could store 1/4 of a face cord, so here is some math: A face cord of wood is a stack of wood 4 ft wide by 8 ft tall, with an area of 32 sq ft. We can ignore the log length, since they would be the same in either the face cord stack or the hoop. The hoop itself has a radius of 1.66 ft, which works out to an area of 8.72 sq ft. So yes, with ideally stacked wood, with very few gaps, the 40" hoop can store 1/4 of a face cord of wood.
