Anyone know if this will sustain a few drops? I had a tripod awhile ago that busted after I dropped it. But it was made out of plastic, not sure what this is made out of…
This tripod might be fine to hold a light weight camcorder or a point-n-shoot camera, but it doesn’t have the weight capacity to hold a high end DSLR camera with a long telephoto lens.
I suggest you be careful what cameras you use this with.

Yes, it should.
I have one Sunpak already. I like the legs and I think the construction is solid. The head wears quickly and isn’t supremely high quality, but if that’s really important to you, you can just buy a better head.
