Surviveware 72-Hour Emergency Backpack

Still waiting on their response to my telling them what to do with a measly 8 bucks.

Just got 2 this morning both missing food, water & lifestraws. Sent customer service email, waiting for reply.

2 here on separate shipments both missing the same stuff (food, water, lifestraws). Will probably just return both I guess…

And now it looks like the item has been removed from woot…

Not down at the bottom of the list with the sellouts, just gone.

The link at the top of this thread still works.

Mine was missing the food , water, lifestraw and emergency whistle.

Yes, we ended the sale.

Mine was missing a lot! Water and food were both empty, the lifestraws and knife were not there as well as some other small things. Contacted customer service as half the stuff was MIA

Can you link the replacements you found?

Mine did not have the water or food or life straws or matches looks like I bought 2 back packs with assorted first aid and “personal” items like goggles and an emergency blanket no where near what is advertised. I’m glad I didn’t pay the 160+ they normally ask for.

To be fair, anyone who buys a survival product and can’t be bothered to check said product beforehand will probably not survive long when the zombie apocalypse gets here.:rofl:

Okay, now customer service is pissing me off. They completely ignored my response that an $8 partial refund wasn’t enough when others are reporting being offered twice as much and they just sent me some form letter to return the whole thing.

Seriously, Woot? Is this what it’s coming to? Is this going to be the last thing I buy from you? Because this is BS.

These seem to be what were supposed to be in the thing:

But the listing no longer shows up in the Hobbies: Sports & Outdoor Sale. Not even down at the bottom as sold out.

Sold out listings drop off the page after a few hours or so.

But it’s still available to be viewed by clicking the link at the top of the forum page.

It’s normal. No one wants to sort through a ton of sold out stuff looking for active sales.

I just got my black bag and it’s also missing food, water, lifestraw- not sure if it’s missing matches. Contacted customer service…

Exact same issue here on the 4 backpacks that I ordered.

Could you imagine just putting these in storage without looking and then needing them to find no water or food

I too received my kit missing the Lifestraw, food rations, emergency water packets, and matches. I proposed ignoring the missing matches and asked for a $56 refund to cover the replacement costs of the Lifestraw, water and food.

Woot! CS responded with the choice of a $20 partial refund or return the whole kit. I tried the CS telephone option to discuss, but got a message saying the telephone option isn’t currently available. So I had no choice but to email my counter proposal: $35 to cover the food and Lifestraw, and I overlook the missing water and matches. I requested my proposal be escalated to a CS manager if the rep I was dealing with isn’t authorized to move beyond the initial $20 refund offer.

Not super optimistic but I think a $35 refund is more than reasonable as a compromise solution. It makes the customer reasonably whole, saves Woot! money compared to a full refund + return shipping and most importantly: makes me want to continue giving them my business.

How is that not a win-win?

I received two black backpacks and am missing the same items everyone else is reporting

My wife said the package was just delivered, but I am still at work. That being said, my package is listed as being 20 lbs when I checked the tracking number at UPS.com, so I do not have very high hopes, since the description says the item weighs 27 pounds. I will update this reply when I check the package.

Update:
I am missing the Water, Food and Lifestraw. Right now I am evaluating what I did get and what it is worth to me.
