I own this exact model. It’s a nice unit and does an excellent job making dough.

However, I find it suffers from two drawbacks, both chronic bread machine problems for anything less than the high end units: (1) it has the upright loaf pan, making for odd shaped bread, and (2) even on the lowest setting the crust is very thick and hard.

I find I get the best results by letting it do all the hard work, then panning it up and baking it myself in the oven.

Ah, it’s been years since I owned a bread maker but I recall these problems. I have been thinking about getting another one recently because I had surgery on my right wrist last month and I’ll be in a cast till Turkey day, and it’ll be until mid January before I get most of the use of it back and I miss freshly made bread…
