The plastic in these is pretty solid. It can handle instant hot water, but I don’t know about boiling.

I think the airtight pitchers do not come with a filter. The cold brew and tea pitchers do. I think this might be the right link.

Well, I’m looking in our Admin and the ASIN (SKU) for the 2qt black is B07C36HVWK which I linked above. Looks like we’re selling two different things here. Pinging the Home team to fix it up.
The others are the pitchers. Only the black is different - Cold Brew Coffee Maker.

I love these. I have 5 of them. Every one I got included the tea/coffee filter in the middle. (the infuser looks like a cage, and is a separate purchase on the Takeya website). I do make iced tea in this thing, pouring boiling water into the pitcher. It’s not the thin cheap plastic, it’s more like the Lexan polycarbonate (heavy duty) stuff. The only negative is that the pitcher is so tall that it doesn’t fit on all the shelves in the refrigerator.

It is indeed a COLD BREW COFFEE MAKER, not an airtight pitcher.
If you’re within two hours of your order time, you can self cancel from your order history.

It does say in the description on the mothership that lid is airtight, though.

Hmmm… I’m tempted to get a 1 quart… perhaps to pair with my OMG French press and make iced coffee? Is that how this all works? Or can it work that way? I can just chain Woot things together, right?
