I was going to write a quick review since this arrived today, but then I saw it was sold out. I also saw that you sold exactly one unit. To somebody who lives in my home state. Huh, quite the coincidence.
So… it was an open box, but all the parts were in there. The manual was not, but I found it online and I had already figured things out anyway. This is the only massage gun I’ve ever used so I can’t compare. I can say it made an immediate positive difference in some lingering post-op muscle stiffness I’ve had, so I’m a happy Wooter.
Lucky you, glad you got the deal.
Can anyone else speak to whether a name brand is necessary for these? Lots of variations out there now.
In general, when I have no clue, I get the cheapest I can find, accept that it’ll have shortcomings but know that if they’re bad enough at least I’ll have a better idea of what I DO want if I decide to get a replacement.
There are a few cheaper massage guns than this one on Woot right now. They popped up like a day after I ordered this one. By my philosophy, I’d have gotten one of those instead, had they been available.
As you discovered, items in the Clearance section (especially in categories such as Open Box and the Garage Sales) often have EXTREMELY limited quantities.
(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)
I dug into the reviews of cheap massage guns about a year ago. This one was the crowd favorite, and at the time, it was sold out on their website.
I can believe it.
