This is the minimalist rice cooker — does exactly one thing and does it flawlessly (as long as you don’t mess up the water ratio).
No touchscreen, no WiFi, no AI-powered rice monitoring — just pure, stone-age circuit logic. In a post-EMP apocalypse, while others are mourning their fried smart kitchen appliances, this thing will still be cooking rice like it’s 1955(the first electric rice cooker).
Yep – just a heating coil, a thermal switch, a mechanical switch, and a couple of lights. Or is that a precision wound thermal element, a bimetallic heat detector, a direct control actuator, and dual status indicators?
I’m pretty sure there are probably folks out there who won’t know how to turn on a light switch if Alexa doesn’t or can’t help them.
Without my glasses, I thought that the choices were “cook” and “human”.
