I just bought this on Amazon for travel to Europe, which I now know it can’t do. It only supports voltage up to 125 v. This is probably due to the surge suppression switch. So it’s cool for domestic use only.
Tessan does have a few “travel” power strips that are listed as 240v-rated, but weirdly not the corded travel power strip in this sale. One of the “wall wart” style adapters claims to handle 240v, though.
Technically the NEMA 5-15P plug (aka, a standard US plug) is only rated for 15A 125V, which I think makes it difficult for companies to sell travel rated power strips. (The 15A 240V NEMA plug — 6-15P — is literally the same plug design with one rotated blade, so it’s probably not really a safety concern; there’s just no standard that allows you to rate a standard plug at 240V.)
