The lateness mystery

Good sentiment. Once you think through it a couple of times. The formatting makes the words fit on the tee but the line break (with no punctuation) changes the meaning.

What I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to say:
“Don’t have to leave the house; yet still always late.” (I’m still always late, even though I don’t have to leave the house.)

What it actually says, as written, because of where the break and pause are:
“Don’t have to leave the house yet; still always late.” (I’m still always late, but I don’t have to leave the house yet.)

Thanks for the feedback - I realized the same thing after it was already submitted.

I have a friend who is always late even when she is at home waiting for our non-profits Zoom meeting

Yup, somehow it doesn’t seem possible, but yet - it is!
