Thermacell Mosquito Repellent E-Series Rechargeable

Thermacell Mosquito Repellent E-Series Rechargeable

Might as well buy three. Refills cost more than this whole unit.

Refills

Yeah then $18.33, if buying 6 refills at a time, for less than 2 days worth of repellent. Destined to become more e-waste. Hard pass!

I mean you use them for a few hours at a time. I have two of the butane running models. They work well.

There’s a generic refill on the mothership $10.75 per refill in a 4-pack, but no reviews. Amazon.com : Radius Mosquito Repeller, Mosquito Repellent Eseries, Mosquito Repeller 20 Ft – 4 Pack Refills for E55/E90/EX90, 160-Hour Protection : Patio, Lawn & Garden

These do nothing. Had 4 set up on my driveway and was getting bit constantly

These work for us… if you are close by, only have mosquitos and not other bugs, and there is absolutely no wind. Not even a slight breeze.

In those conditions, they do work here in New Hampshire.

Sounds like it would be better for camping , in a tent or maybe around a campfire, than a driveway or backyard.

Some people have screened porches that don’t totally eliminate mosquitoes and it might be perfect for using there.

My own deck doesn’t get much breeze and this could be effective there, but a regular stand fan seems to do well to keep mosquitos away. We tend to get black flies anyway though, which are gone once it gets hot out for a whole day.

I have one of these and it is fantastic. We took it on a camping trip to the Minnesota boundary waters in a rainy season and barely got bit.

Tip for usage. It works best if you set it up and let it run for 10-20 minutes before you go outside.
