If you change components alot the 11.1 gram size is still a much better deal at 26.99 on Amazon. But this is the best I’ve seen on 1 gram size.

Is there any recommended shelf life for this stuff?

As long as it’s kept in the correct environment for storing, it should last years. It’s very obvious when thermal paste goes bad as it will not keep it’s consistency and will begin to separate.
