These Thermaltake 80+ White power supplies get a bad rep – and rightfully so, as their voltage regulation is basic and its way of protection is by committing seppuku. However, these are still a better option than any non-rated/non-listed PSU. For basic builds or repurposing older hardware of lesser value, AND with calculated power consumption at half or less, I have no qualms using these.
