It looks like this overall has more reliable connectivity than meater, but if you already have meater and don’t have any trouble with it, this wouldn’t be an upgrade.

Reviews of the TempSpike Android app are not positive… 2.6 average stars. Lots of complaints of random shutdowns, connectivity issues, and bugs. On the plus side, ThermoPro answers each of the reviews so they hopefully are working hard on the issue. Just FYI…

I believe you are looking at the TempPro being $50 with the coupon. The ThermoPro, which is on Woot too, is $70 on Amazon with the coupon. TempPro vs. ThermoPro have vastly different quantity and quality of reviews.
I received the temp spike and tried it. I do not even get 100 ft range on it. I sent a note to woot support last week, but have heard nothing.
