The first time these showed up on Woot, I grabbed an LTM3. The rim isn’t quite as big as the one on my existing LTM2, but at half the price it makes a great backup for when the main one’s in the wash. These hats were made to be used and abused, and if you actually do break it there’s a lifetime replacement (my LTM2 is just such a replacement.)
The only tilly I recognize comes with the Wall.
These have an extra e anyway.
My concern is this for the style of the plum one, from their site:
Fits snug – we suggest you size up for the traditional Tilley fit (2 fingers inserted between hat and head)
I think I’ll go with the khaki T3 Classic instead for my giant head.
I noticed the exact same thing, and the new one fit a little tighter too.
That hat does not work on that head.
Shoot, a lot of the reviews say it fits true to size, so I guess we’ll see. It’s a big jump to the next available size in that style, hopefully it fits nicely! 
The guy at the store said he’s the only guy he’s ever seen pull it off.
He’s not supposed to get grease on this hat.
