Photos say 61" x 71", but the specs say 13.5’ x 13.5’.
That’s a big discrepancy!
Would 61 x 71 refer to the hight? That would make sense, but the specs should be specific about what is what.
61x71 are the dimensions of the door. The other measurement is of the tent itself. Sam’s Club sells it. It’s out of stock online, but still has product dimensions listed there.
Not many words out there like Yurt, might just buy one and cancel my lease! Seee YA landlords
Water-Resistant!! Maybe better to use indoors?
I’d love to camp in this, but that pole down the middle would not work with my air mattress.
This is not a yurt
Did you mean See Yurt Landlord?
You got a lot of water indoors you need to resist?
This tent fits two QUEEN air mattresses on the sides of the center pole. I cannot say for sure if a king would fit. It’s HUGE for a “6” person rating.
FYI, this tent sold as costco in 2021 for $299.
Anyone have experience setting this up? Seems like it may take a while.
Also there are no outlets for the margarita machine.
I think it is more about proofing from the water outside or the lack thereof.
Eye yi yi… prolly xcellent for the placca, but anywhere in the PNW would be sus, cuz of all the rain. But for a Burning Man Xtravaganza, I say let them eat cake!
I have a canvas yurt (ok, bell-tent is more appropriate, maybe silbey) similar to this, even with a 13’ diameter. It’s easy enough to put up with one person and takes maybe 20 minutes all told. It’s slower than the instant-up ones, but most of that time is spent driving the stakes and adjusting tension so it’s not a huge bother.
I can’t speak for the Timber Ridge, but the canvas bell tent has weathered a good number of late-summer-midwestern severe thunderstorms and it’s held up better than most tents I’ve had previously.
So I’m guessing animal pelts are not included…
AirBNB potential.
“yurt” is the noise I make when stooping to lift heavy objects off the floor. And sometimes “hernk”.
