Looking at the product photos there does not appear to be a “ClipTech Pouch.” Unless what is being sold is the following on Amazon:
They both have shoulder straps but the Amazon variety has the Cliptech. I would spend the extra $10 for the Cliptech so that it can integrate with Toughbuilt ecosystem.
Hi there. Our images matches the Electrician pouch shown on the Amazon page you linked. Am I missing something?
The following is the photo of the back of the CLIPTECH POUCH from Amazon:
The image highlights CLIPTECH.
The following is the image from Woot:
Notice there is a loop not CLIPTECH.
I believe the title of the Woot Offering is incorrect.
Ah ha! Thank you!
We checked with the vendor and ours is correct. You’re looking at the Journeyman on Amazon. We’re selling the Electrical pouch. Our photos match Amazon and the Toughbuilt site for this bag.
You are correct. It is the Journeyman. However the Title for the Electrician’s Pouch is incorrect. The CLIPTECH applies to the Journeyman. The Electrician’s Pouch comes with a Strap but no Cliptech which is evident from Woot’s picture and on the Amazon website. Thanks for the timely response.
Look at the toughbuilt site. This is part of the cliptech line.
Does that toughbuilt link go to the page for the master electrician pouch for anyone else? I couldn’t find the standard electrician pouch on their website.
Yeah, you’re right. It’s a different one. Vendor says ours is correct though.
I hear what you and the vendor are saying. But what Woot is selling will not clip to anything. It is structurally a loop with the expressed intention of feeding your belt through. Buyer beware.
Yeah, I think the problem is that the subheading says
- ToughBuilt Electrician Pouch with ClipTech Pouches + Shoulder Strap
And the features list
- The ClipTech pouch clips onto any belt.
- You can adjust the Comes with the ClipTech Hub for added versatility.
And the specs list
- ToughBuilt Electrician Pouch with ClipTech Pouches + Shoulder Strap
- Closure Type Belt Loop,Clips
All these mentions of ClipTech might give people the idea that they will receive some sort of ClipTech gear instead of this (assumedly) discontinued pouch.
