Maybe I’m just paranoid but putting fire on a wood table in close vicinity to lithium-ion batteries seems like a bad idea. Better hope it’s not defective.
Yeah, but it’s got a speaker.
But is does not have a LED light. No deal.
Definitely can’t put it in your checked luggage.
I’ve actually purchased a few of these through Amazon (at a very good price, which is why I was willing to take a chance on it). Actually found them to be very well made. I did test all gas line connections before using (as I would with any propane appliance) and had no issues with loose connections or leaks. The bluetooth speaker system is also pretty decent and appears to be waterproofed very well, though I did tighten some of the waterproof electrical connectors, as those were a little loose. Doesn’t have significant bass response but is clear and crisp. We have one on a small deck on an acacia wood table. The fire table doesn’t get hot on the bottom, even with hours of use, so is perfectly safe on the wood table. We fire it up in the evenings and listen to Relaxing Jazz on Prime Music while we enjoy the fire. We initially thought the inclusion of the bluetooth speaker system seemed like a pointless gimick, but actually quite enjoyed it, and nice that it just stays out there, ready to use. Also nice that with the flame turned low it doesn’t put out too much heat, so can enjoy even on a hot summer evening (and also not burn through so much propane). We found the included cover to leak a little as the rain pools in the top of it. Haven’t seen any issue related to the small amount of water that has leaked through, but plan to use a different cover in the future. Takes a while to cool down after use so you can cover it, so nice that it is waterproofed in case we don’t get it covered. Seems like a great product, especially at the price I paid or even the price on here. Much lower than other sellers. Not sure if it is just clearing inventory as this is an older model, i.e., Loom I vs. Loom II, or if there is something more to the significant price reduction.
I would like to know if the housing has a place to store the propane tank? I am guessing no at least for a 20 pound tank. Maybe a smaller tank?
It will be fine.
Yeah, but it’s got a speaker.
@bronto
Does the hose shown in the one picture come with these, or do you have to find your own way to connect to a propane tank?
$112 new on Amazon right now. No written reviews and only one 4 star rating.
[MOD: look again, pls]
Actually this model is showing $189 on Amazon the one without the glass is the cheaper cost
Mine were new in original manufacturer’s box from Amazon and they came with regulator hose assembly.
These aren’t big enough to conceal a tank under them, but the regulator hose assembly is reasonably long, so you potentially conceal a tank elsewhere. We used a y adapter and attached to the tank housed in our grill.
My dream when I get away from it all is to bring a super loud speaker to drive off all the wild animals
Tell us you didn’t read the product Features tab without telling us you didn’t read the product Features tab. Or the Specs tab either.
that’s actually an interesting thought, you could play a bunch of mating calls and get more animals.
Found this on amazon
