20-50 is also best saved for older engines.
Oil weight is important and must follow engine builder (or OEM) specs. My 2006 Corvette requires 5-30. This is recommended because of various tolerances within the engine. Bearing gaps, things of that nature. If the oil is too heavy, then there is a risk it can’t get through.
Now, under duress, IE, race conditions, upping to a 20-50 is good, cause it will take the abuse.
In general, I would not use this on a modern street engine, unless specified by a custom builder. Plus, this is not synthetic. I would use this in my vintage 1930s-1970s car, with original engine.
