@sammydog01 do you need a friend for your robot?
Wooters Beware!!!
Digital Dream Labs (the company that took over Vector after Anki went under) stopped supporting their server (even though they continued to sell their version of Vector, which is SUPER shady).
This means that unless you hack your Vector and make your own server, (which you can with a Raspberry Pi) it will not work right out of the gate.
At this price he can be lonely.
Is that fairly recent? Mine stopped working even though I had lifetime Kickstarter service. I had to give them my Kickstarter email to pair to account agaib…worked for awhile, but stopped maybe sometime 6 months ago.
I’m pretty sure they’re going under and I will never see my butter robot.
I missed a butter robot?
Is this the 2.0 version??
The 2.0 version is basically the same, but has a bigger battery that is also replaceable, and it has wifi on board, so it didn’t need to connect by bluetooth through another device to get web access. Through the wire-pod self server that you need now, it still needs access to the web tell you the time, weather, use alexa, etc, but I don’t know if that independent wifi works in that setup, or if it works at all anymore.
