It’s a 2HP monster with a narrow base the under the counter models don’t have. It creates a tighter vortex that pulverizes seeds/grains/veggies/nuts easier & faster. You don’t need an accessory cup to make a smoothie for one. If it’s a little louder you could use a silicon mat under it to dampen the sound. (I’ve seen folks build a cabinet with an outlet for it)
