I wanted this until I started reading reviews. Might say eff it and roll the dice.
So regret rolling the dice on this one.
The instructions are an absolute joke and there are SIX holes missing from table top which make mounting the bar to the desk impossible for stability and the control box holes are also missing.
Gonna have to contact the manufacturer then probably Woot.
See how there are 16 holes in the middle during their install video? Mine is missing eight of those holes and I need six of them per the instructions.
So as you can see, I have half as many holes thus the desk can’t be screwed into the bar and the controller box has no mounting locations left. No idea where the quality control was on this sucker.
So; I’ll update my post after I get done with their customer service.
UPDATE: Their customer service told me that the control unit and the bracket holes aren’t pre-drilled and you need to drill them yourselves. This is absolutely a lie based on their video here. DESK-EV47TB Black 47" x 24" Electric Desk Assembly by VIVO - YouTube
This company doesn’t sound like it wants to take ownership of it’s mistake. They’re arguing with me about it now.
This is what it’s supposed to look like. Notice the screws above the silver bar stabilizing the desk to the control arm. Those are missing. Also note the sticker with the predrilled holes for the controller.
**Since I purchase through Woot their customer service stopped helping me after learning my order number. They went from lying about the fact that I needed to drill the desk myself to confirming that there does seem to be an issue with the table… Now they’re saying they need to forward the conversation to the “whole seller” since I bought from Woot. They stated I’ll receive an email “soon” and when I asked for an ETA they stated that they cannot provide ETAs. That was my customer service experience so far. **
Here’s the fun part where they tried to tell me I had to drill the holes myself.

Vivo-US wholesale contacted me today asking for an address to ship a replacement desktop. I provided the information this morning and will continue to post any updates as they come in.
The new table top for the desk arrived on Friday. Sadly it’s the exact same design as the previous one. So it seems their customer service rep is right and you are required to drill your own holes. Don’t understand why the instructions make no mention to drilling holes and every video on their website says the holes are already there.
So just be aware a drill is required to install this desk. Hopefully this thing lasts but customer service got the top to me fast, so that’s a real positive sign.
I just pushed a little harder with the screw/screwdriver to mount it where I wanted.
I like this. It was fun to put together, but it’s important to be aware that a monitor riser/mount might be useful. If the table is high, you’re going to find either the keyboard will be at a good height, or the monitors will be, but not necessarily both at the same time.
Might be interesting to get a cupholder, a headphone rack, an under-desk tray, and then something to stand on. Some people like balance balls, some people like anti-fatigue mats, some people might just get a foot rest.
Another something to notice is the table top arrived as two pieces. Not a big deal unless you really care about that aesthetic. It’s not likely going to matter unless there’s a need for building puzzles or maybe drafting or need that much mouse movement. That might be of interest to some people. It shouldn’t be a deal breaker, though.
The price at purchase was decent enough to rival other fixed height desks with the added bonus of being height adjustable.
I’d buy it again if I need to. The motor isn’t that loud. Think about slightly softer than a meowing cat, and that’s in line with the noise level.
