Amazon price on 4-6-12 was $199 NEW with 1 year warranty

Got this the last time. Love it. Had a little hiccup when it was upgraded to Gingerbread, but after a couple of reboots it’s worked like a champ.

I bought my wife one for Christmas. She LOVES it. Its perfect for everything she wants a tablet for, and it didn’t break my bank!

I would definitely buy one if your in the market.

Bought one new for my wife at walmart in January for $199. Not an ipad, but does a great job for all basic tablet stuff. If you get one, I’d recommend dowloading a launcher app to replace the one that comes with the unit. Very happy overall.

I bought a couple right before christmas for my kids and am very happy with them. Kids love them! Much better tablet then i was expecting, thanks woot!

My cell phone gets really hot when I watch videos or baseball games on it, Also the battery dies in an hour on my phone.

Will this get hot, and how long will the battery last while watching movies/baseball?

Really a decent value buy. Yeah, yeah. The memory thing. Hey, you’re not getting an IPOD or a Xoom at this price point, but for MOST applications, this one will do, and the resolution is rather excellent. Think of it as the netbook of pads.

My friend got this last time and loves it. It works really well. Great tablet for the price. No it’s not an ipad or even competes with one, but for the price it’s great. you can internet, watch movies, add storage, hdmi, and play angry birds.

That must be one of the most graphically annoying and least informative manufacturer’s sites on the interwebz.

Are they actively trying to drive people away?

Too bad HDMI isn’t “in” too so you could hookup a camera to it to preview pics in the field on a much larger screen.

I agree! Try this…

Got 2 for my kids before Christmas, and 1 of them came with a loose USB port, which I got replaced quickly by WOOT. As a device, they like it very much. Not as good as my Thrive, so if you want something more powerful, get the Toshiba Thrive instead.

Do you have a link for that? Because it’s $279.95 new, $189.99 refurbed with no case or cable here:

Bought this before on one of the last Woot-Offs. Was pretty good. Just needed root.

This can be updated to Honeycomb (Android 3.0) and probably IceCreamSandwich (Android 4.0). See here.
