VIZIO Quantum 4K QLED UHD HDR Smart TV (Refurbished)

Not sure this is really a deal. Listed on Wal-Mart for $214.00 new: VIZIO 50" Class 4K UHD LED HDR Smart TV (V4K50M-08)

I’m not finding that. I see a $218 via Google but when you click to go to Walmart, it’s actually $338 for new. Didn’t see a refurbished one.

I clicked on the link provided and Walmart does sell this tv new for $214.00.

The one at Walmart does not list the “Quantum LED” feature and has a different model number. Whether that makes a difference or not is beyond the scope of this conversation.

That is a different model number. Walmart has the same model number as Woot NEW for $238 though. Neither seem like a great deal though, unless 50" is the biggest TV you can get.

Walmart = VIZIO 50" Class 4K UHD LED HDR Smart TV (V4K50M-08)

Woot! = Model Number: VQD50M-08

Per Google AI

The key difference between the Vizio V4K50M-08 and the VQD50M-08 is the display technology. The VQD50M-08 has a Quantum Dot (QLED) display, providing a wider and more accurate color spectrum compared to the standard LED-backlit V4K50M-08. This means the VQD model can produce more vivid and saturated colors, especially for high dynamic range (HDR) content.
Both models are Vizio Smart TVs with a 50-inch 4K resolution (3840 x 2160), a 60Hz refresh rate, and support for the major HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG.

Great catch! Although the link above is now $198.

I own two Vizio 75 in 4k TVs that have been running way too much for about 6 years. I honestly don’t know if I could tell the difference between what I have and a quantum dot. I have to wear glasses now to watch TV. I have eye screen burn in/ burnout
