These may be excellent containers. They will provide better protection from pests like pantry moths and ants. However, the claim they will keep your cereal from getting stale is absurd. Whatever humidity is in the air becomes trapped in the airtight storage container. Chips and cereal we stored in Rubbermaid Cereal Keeper containers at the NJ shore became stale faster than if they were left in their original bags. A container with a vacuum valve and a vacuum pump would work better.
