EDIT 5pm CT: It’s a taking a little while to load for some people on the app. We’re working on it!

Some of you may have noticed that there’s a new-look Woot-Off on the Woot! app. DO NOT PANIC! We’re doing a public beta of some super-cool new Woot-Off features, like:

  1. Auto-refresh of the next Woot-Off item
  2. More accurate countdown timing for the current Woot-Off item
  3. See Shirt Woot-Off and Gourmet Woot-Off on the Main Woot-Off page
    4. Tap to see a sneak peek of the next item [Disabled for now]
  4. Sign up for Woot-Off item push notifications

These features are only on the Woot! app (for now) so fire up on your mobile device (or re-launch the Woot! app if you’re already using it). Look for this ALL-NEW section just below the daily deals:

Every time I click on a Woot-Off category, it spins and spins and then tells me the “Woot-Off has now ended”.

Yep, they’re working on that now. SORRY!

Also, try restarting the app: close and remove your app from memory. Then restart the app. Sometimes you have to do this a couple times.

If no luck, tell me what version of the app you’re on (More… > About Woot for … > The numbers on the 1st and 3rd lines.

I touch the Woot-Off symbol on home screen of the app, it opens another screen and just sits there for a few minutes before it finally says “That’s all folks”, the woot-off is over. I go over to website and the woot-off is obviously not over.

I like the new feature but maybe make it to the top of the app and not the middle.

You can turn on notifications for the next item on the sale page in each category. From there, you’ll have to read them. :smiley:
