I ordered these in the last Woot-off and can’t wait for them to come. I think these will be perfect to light up my entryway at night.
A handful of very good reviews (4.5 out of 5.0) over at amazon
I have a different set from Westinghouse & the quality is outstanding! The soft flickering lights are perfect lighting for my frequent headaches.
Is there a timer switch for the larger candles; or is it simply an on/off switch?
Awesome, batteries included for the votives! I hate trying to find those.
I’d like to know that as well. The one’s I have do & it’s such a nice feature.
I bought these when they had them around Christmastime and really like them. However, I didn’t know then that some LED candles come with timers. I wish I had saved my money and put it towards models with timers instead.
That being said, I still enjoy having them and they look extremely real. I did eventually find a great deal on a timer model; found a 4-pack of 5" ones at Ross for $8.99.
These don’t have timers. I have this exact set from Woot.
I have these on order from the woot off but have the other frequently seen Westinghouse set of 4 carved vanilla (which doesnt last) which are awesome. They give enough light to not trip over the black dog but still pleasant. I do wish this set had a timer but will still be useful.
I don’t know if it makes a difference, but the set you linked to on Amazon is the -MX2; this one is the -MX1.
Also, if you have Prime, it’s cheaper on Amazon at $18.
Recently saw these at a wedding. You couldn’t tell that there wasn’t a real flame unless you looked straight down. Great for ambient lighting.
Anyone know the battery life of each of the various sizes?
Noy sure if these have a scent, but many real-wax LED candles have a vanilla or floral scent. To prolong the scent, simply store the candle in a Ziploc™ bag in between uses.
The difference in the model number is the silver tea lights versus the red ones offered here.

hi! so do you know if these have a scent or not? my mom’s been looking for some unscented LED candles which are pretty difficult to find… she’s allergic to many fragrances so it’d be great if you could let me know! thanks

These are not scented. Even if they were, the scent doesn’t last long in most LED candles from what I’ve read and experienced. The ones I found at Ross are vanilla scented and you can’t really tell unless you get up close and take a good sniff of the wax.

That kills it for me, as my kids would run down the batteries without a timer. These are great for children though: turn out all the lights, build some type of “tent”, turn off the lights, and they’ll spend hours in there. These candles are also good for kids if you lose power; they act as a night light.

Not only would kids run down the batteries with no timer… I would too. I have a ton of LED candles of various sizes and brands throughout my house. This is a good brand but no timer is definitely a deal-breaker for me. I have some LED candles with timers sitting on the top of my kitchen cabinets. I have tall ceilings and the taller-type cabinets. So timers are a must in some situations.
At least the medium and large use AAA batteries so you can use recharge-ables.
