$8 for 20 tea bags…?
I know “organic” means twice as expensive and I’m not a big tea drinker, but this seems kinda pricey.
Anyone know if this is a good deal?
Well this seems like more in line with my expected pricing since it is Whole Foods brand and organic but I dont think its a great deal
Last month, a 6-pack of boxes was offered for $13.99 (and there was a $5 off coupon that could reduce the price to $8.99). This seemed like an amazing deal.
Unfortunately I believe everyone who ordered received just 1 box from Amazon fulfillment and had to contact Woot! customer service. In my case I chose to try my luck with getting the remaining 5 boxes BUT Amazon fulfillment again sent me just 1 box.
When I contacted Woot customer service yet again, to their credit they said the only thing they could offer was a refund. While I did receive 2 boxes for free, I would have preferred just receiving what I ordered and not gone through the additional hassle of contacting customer service (who were great BTW).
Here is that forum link from last month
Good luck!
Yeah i was a part of that situation last time. Wouldn’t pay $8 for 1 box either. Even without the coupon the $13.99 price was great for a six pack. Poo on this deaL.
Seems like they put up the sales again with the corrected new info several weeks later. Ive noticed this with quite a few different products. Know your prices & do some googling if you’re not sure. As Padawan said good luck.
Nope, not at that price.
Definitely not a “Woot” at 2x-3x Whole Foods’s store price, also available on Amazon.com for less than half Woot’s price.
Woot really seems to struggle selling tea.
Well people are buying it according to the sales stats. . Just hope they don’t think they are getting a 6 pack like in the picture.
Not for nothing on the mothership some flavors of the Whole Foods tea 1 box/20 bags are selling for $4.49 + $9.95 delivery through the whole foods market so 1 box would cost $14.44. Unsure if they would combine shipping for mutiple boxes as I’ve never ordered from the market & the regular prime account doesn’t wave that shipping fee.
I’m curious if anyone here has ordered from the whole foods market on amazon…do they combine/reduce shipping?
I just bought a box of organic Yogi tea at a Whole Foods for $3.50 so idk who would pay $8 for one box of tea that’s probably old.
They don’t combine/reduce delivery. Whole foods delivery is a flat $9.95 (and that doesn’t include recommended $10 delivery tip). best to go to the store.
Was relieved to read your comment as I also ordered six boxes of each flavor (have many friends who drink tea and the plan was to share the haul). Was not too pleased to get one box of each flavor. I took the refund, didn’t want to chance getting shortchanged again - which happened to you, unfortunately. This price seems way too high now.
Yes it’s a flat fee for delivery, not per item. Also free curbside pick up.
