Can I tell you why I don’t like the idea of a wall-mount scale? First of all, looking at the photo, it could be clumsy trying to view the readout. But that’s trivial, compared to my other issue – isn’t it kind of useless for measuring things into bowls, pots, etc? The platform just isn’t that big. And if you have it mounted under-cabinet, how would you pour into it? For example, I use my scale to measure the water for my oatmeal into the little saucepan. I pour water from my Brita pitcher and measure the oz. No way that would work if it were mounted under the cabinet. And tonight, when I make a batch of rice in my 5-quart pot, I’ll put the pot on the scale and then pour in the water. No way it would work.

TL;DR: unless you’re measuring small things in small quantities (you know who you are), you’ll do better with one that sits on the counter.
