Wait, what? 0.5 ounces (13 grams) per pack? That’s basically a crumbled up boullion cube in an envelope and they are $20 for a dozen? No thanks, I don’t think so. At first I thought it said 5 ounces (not .5) and thought $20 for 60 ounces of something ($5.33/pound) wasn’t so terrible but jeez give me a break.

$53.31/lb for soup, eh? I think I’ll stick with my 99-cent ramen noodles.

Well, considering that my Wild Zora Bars that shipped nearly a week ago are somewhere in UPS limbo and no updates… I’ll pass.

If you look at the ingredients, which are primarily freeze-dried vegetables and meats, this is as opposite to 20-cent Top Ramen as you can get. And the weight is small because it is freeze-dried. Think “astronaut food” as the same process is used for food for space flights and also long expeditions like climbing Mt Everest or going to Antactica.

Primarily because there are so many haters, this sounds like something I’d like.
And a local Colorado company.
Ordering a set.

Got these before. Not all that good and really overpriced. Only decent use at the price that I’ve thought of would be for carrying light, easy nutrition when backpacking.

The freeze dried contents in these really do not reconstitute into much at all - seemingly just tiny minced bits of food in a cup full of bouillon. IMHO, they’re only okay and they’re overpriced for what you get.

Did you order from Woot? Did you let them know?

That’s s big selling point I think.

I ordered these the first time around. They are pretty tasty and having something more substantial to mix in with them is a great idea

Well considering Ramen in a ready to go cups are rarely more than a dollar. I think I’ll stick with those. These could be the greatest soups ever invented and the cost still wouldn’t be worth it.
