This refurbished unit came without the Pre-Filter which is a permanent filter which holds the activated carbon filter and the true HEPA filter in place. You cannot purchase the Pre-Filter from Winix as it is supposed to be part of the purchase but since this is a refurb resold by Amazon/Woot, it looks like I am screwed.
