Well done Woot. Very cute for Wootaholics.
The only problem with USB lights is that they can’t be connected to make one giant strand (ala standard AC-powered holiday lights).
Even if you use USB A to USB A extender cables?
The lights aren’t end-to-end so they can’t be connected together.
Generally, novelty lights like this don’t connect to each other.
Do USB A splitters exist?
Alternatively, using a multi-USB hub with LOTS of USB A extended, so that each port uses a different amount of extenders.
Obviously this isn’t ideal, and it wouldn’t make sense.
It’s because of those reasons that I’m even suggesting these options.
I actually have one (1) USB splitter, which is already in use with my pre-existing LED lights. I’m not sure if there’s such a thing as a combination USB splitter and extension cord.
Well that stinks.
8 hours left to buy!
The lights aren’t end-to-end so they can’t be connected together.
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he’s got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it…
