Why are you doing this?
We did this last year and had a lot of fun, so why not do it again?
Why is it in Woodville, TX?
They have a monthly street festival called Second Saturday on the Square and who doesn’t love a good festival? Also, we talked to the mayor and they’re letting us rename the town to Wootville for the day.
Will Wooters be there?
We will if you will. We’ll have the Woot Street Team at the Woot Booth, and we’ll have some side quests for those who are interested.
What are you bringing?
Woot shirts, party-sized Boxes o’ Crap, and Woot coupons! And snow cones! While supplies last!
What should I bring?
Maybe a folding chair or two, if you’d like to sit and listen to live music, or find a little spot in the shade to rest from the heat. It’s Texas in July, so it’ll be HOT.
Also, if you happen to have one of those Woot coins we gave out at our birthday last year, or in a few special birthday BOCs, you’ll get access to something extra special…
What should I wear?
Anything you want, as long as it’s good for hot, humid weather. Bonus points if it’s a Woot shirt!
What else can I do in Woodville?
So much! There will be lots of booths as part of the street festival. And if you want to explore the Woodville area, there’s the Tyler County Art League, Heritage Village and Museum, and the Big Thicket National Preserve. Maybe make a weekend of it!
What happens after the party?
That’s up to you. As for us, we’ll be very sweaty and tired so we’ll be hitting the showers and then an early bedtime.
